How To Get More Views On YouTube

Wondering how to get more views on Youtube? Simply stated youtube views come by people finding the video, viewing it and sharing it. Here are the steps to do to accomplishing these three things and successfully market on youtube.

Six things that are super easy to get those video views on YouTube.

Step #1 Search for the best title to use for the video. To do this we need to ask how does the current title actually show up in google? Simple answer, go to google and search for it. Then, to find out how many people are searching for the exact phrase go to Google Adwords, Keyword Tool.

Type the phrase into the “word or phrase” box and click “search”. Now it shows how many people globally are looking for that search phrase. Click the “exact” box to see the exact match. This is a very important thing to do. Look in keyword ideas because there might be another keyword idea that will get more video views than the current search term.

Lastly, use Google insights for search. This shows the demographics, where the search is coming from. To do that click on the dropdown arrow next to the search term and click on “Google Insights for Search”. On the left side of the screen there should be a “limit to” section, change the time limit on that to the last 90 days. That shows the trend of when this search term was being used.

Step #2 Making a great description. First thing to add in the description is a call to action. The call to action should be at the top so it will be seen in Google. It’s very important that the URL or whatever is most important is seen there. The next thing to do is to make sure that the key phrase is in the description. It should be a little closer to the top, maybe one other time during middle and one at the end. But don’t spam this. Please don’t spam. It’s important to keep it real. Make it like a Blog post, make it really interesting for the readers.

Step #3 We want to transcribe the video. Click on video manager, select the video, then at the top click on captions. YouTube has it’s own transcription way to bring in closed caption and it is horrible, so it’s very important to upload a correct transcription. Listen to the video, type it in a text file and upload it. It’s very simple. Quick tip: Use the transcription in the description if the description is lacking information. This is very powerful, especially for Google.

Step #4 is to customize the thumbnail. It’s important to get the right image because that image will cause people to click. This is what pulls people in, a title and the image is what pulls people in. There’s some great thumbnails out there, start to recognize what grabs attention when it comes to thumbnail images and from that learn how to customize thumbnails.

Step #5 Putting in those annotations. An annotation is basically just some text that links somewhere or is just text that pops up. At the end of the video showcase some videos or do something funny and have your subscribe link. This gets subscribers on that YouTube Channel. The more subscribers, the more video views. Because subscribers get notified that there is a new video out and the views go up.

The last step is the most important step.

Step #6 Have great content that will engage the viewer. This is extremely important and it doesn’t matter what type of video it is. If it’s music, have it be stunning music with great videography, or if it’s an informational video, make sure it has great information that’s there. Get people to engage, give thumbs up, thumbs down, share, and comment. And the great thing is a great video that has great content, it doesn’t matter what it is, it will apply to a certain market and that market will share that video because it’s good. And when it’s good, you’ll get those video views.

How To Get More Views on YouTube – Six Steps

With using the transcription, you make it easier for search engines to know what content is being said in the video. this is very important for search. And also this is a great technique if you go ahead and use that transcription, if your having a hard time coming up with ideas, for your description, go ahead and use the transcription in the description.

Step 5: 06:06 Putting in those annotations in the video. You can click on that and it will actually take you to another video. Increasing his views on this other video. the end of the video you want to be able to have a place where you can showcase some videos and do something funny here or whatever and have your subscribe link. This gets subscribers on that YouTube Channel. The more subscribers that you have the more video views you have. Because once you introduce, people get notified that there is a video out and the views go up. It just gets easier and easier to get those views.

Step 6: 07:07 Have great content that will engage the viewer. And the great thing is once you have a great video that has great content, it doesn’t matter what it is, it will apply to a certain market. And when it’s good, you’ll get those video views on YouTube.
