A great way to build a community around your YouTube channel is to engage with the commenters. To take it a step further, though, you can add channel moderators. Channel moderators are given access to remove or report comments on your videos. This gives them a sense of ownership for your channel, and it helps you manage your channel better, too.
This feature is especially great for really big channels that get thousands of comments every day. Big channels just can’t manage that many comments, so adding comment moderators helps manage the workload while building a community around your brand.
