Live: More Views, Subscribers & Money – YouTube Channel Evaluation eveRide

It’s very important to check things out with your online video content and gauge how effective your videos really are ranking from time to time. That is why it’s important to give yourself an evaluation once in a while to check things out.

Some of you have been on my website and watched the channel evaluations that are done for one of my lucky subscribers. We go over all kinds of things to improve methods and techniques that will better their channel and get them on the road to more success. Here are some of those tips to help you analyze your channel, and also to see what can be done to give it that extra push to get going strong. Remember that these are just the tips that I gave to one of my lucky subscribers.

TIP #1 Be yourself when you are creating content‒ especially if you are vlogging. Be very direct to your audience, act natural, and share experiences that will captivate your audience. Remember, they are watching you because it is what interests them also. It’s what makes the connection.

TIP #2 Brand, Brand, Brand. Be big on branding. Let everyone know who you are with your brand. That means you have to use your branding in thumbnails, icons, on every video, and add it on the left-hand side. You will be more visible and it gives you more authority. People see you brand and start clicking because they recognize who you are.

TIP #3 Do you own merchandise. Leaving annotations in your videos will lead people to your shopping page. I recommend spreadshirt.com and Cafepress. These are great ways to start out and get your brand out there to your community. It will only grow from there. Start making some money and when your revenue is getting up there, change to Shopify.com. This is a 3^rd party provider that YouTube authorizes.

TIP #4 Create a website. This is a great way to introduce yourself and tell your story. Have a place for subscribers to go to and gather. It is also the best place to show off your wares that you are selling. It’s a great tool to promote yourself, your business, and your brand. A website will help you become visible to the outside world.

TIP #5 Join social networks. The reason for this is that it works. There is power behind being part of these communities with comments, shares, and likes. What better way to get your audience to see you than by posting new video content on your website. It’s the place where they can go to see everything.

The Mega Money Making Idea is getting sponsors for your channel. People would love to sponsor your videos. They probably don’t know that you exist right now, so you will find the right opportunities to go out and approach these guys to find the right ones. You have to be niche specific. Go after the businesses that you have bought products from and use. For example, if you use a certain type of camera to make your videos, talk to these guys and tell them that you are the right person to represent them. Show them what you’re about and let them see that you are worth having as a business partner. Sponsorships are getting great returns this way than with traditional advertising. It’s worth sending them a proposal with a description of your business, demographics and such. Google already has a spreadsheet to pull this information together and the rest will fall into place as you finalize your agreement and collect revenue.

Some of you may be thinking that you can’t just walk up to the front door of a large corporation and tell them that you want to be their sponsor. And you’re right. There is always a best way to do something and here is what to do.

• Be transparent about what you’re doing.
• Select your best videos to use as a review.
• Look for a press release to find their contact information and talk with that person.
• This will open up a way to explain your goals with your audience, their product, and introduce yourself as wanting to be one of their sponsors.
• Show them your plan and how their business will benefit from you.
• Name your price. Make it worth your while.
• Then you will go after businesses that provide products and gear for your niche.
• Repeat the same thing by telling them your goals and how their business will benefit from you as a sponsor.

All of this works because it is a powerful way to advertise. This is a different world and people communicate differently than they used to. If you have a hyper-engaged audience and provide the merchandise that they want and need, then this is a strategic way to make and grow your business to the success that you desire. Once you start going after sponsors, everything will start to snowball and you will be approached by bigger sponsorship brands and companies that can see how much attention you are getting from your channel and website. All you need to know is how to approach these companies, show then your analytic data, and the rest will be history.
