How To Hide Your Facebook Friends List

So, you are trying to figure out a way how to hide your Facebook ‘Friends list’? Really, it is a good thing to protect your privacy as much as you can on the Internet. Now, not only am I going to show you how to hide your Facebook Friends list, but how to really customize the setting to grant access to certain people.

Okay, to hide that Friend list on Facebook, the first thing that you need to do is login to Facebook, get to your profile, and then mouse down to where it says Friends. Hopefully you have more than one friend, which I know you do, you are very popular!

So, go ahead and click on that then click on the little pencil icon on the right side of the page, then click Edit Privacy. Now, this brings up the settings. Now is when you decide who can see your Friends list. You can actually have Public, Friends, Friends except Acquaintances, and Custom.

You can basically say Friends of Friends, which is a great option if you are looking to expand your outer circle. If not, you can go to specific people or lists. Once you’ve decided click on it and then Save Changes on that and hit Close. And that is how simple it is to hide your Friends List on Facebook.

Remember the Steps:

1. Click on Profile
2. Scroll to Friends list and click on the Pencil icon
3. Edit, Save, and Close
