How to Find Your YouTube Inbox

Did you know that YouTube has a built-in messaging system? Due to YouTube’s recent changes you may not be able to find your YouTube inbox or maybe think that YouTube has deleted it from their system. But that is not the case.

To find your YouTube inbox for your YouTube channel, click on the gear and slide over to Video Manager. Once your on that page locate Community, on the left-hand side of the page, click on it and you will see that you actually have an inbox there. This is where you will find YouTube’s own mailing system that allows you to contact other content creators of YouTube.

If you find that you have a message in your Inbox, you can decide whether you will reply, block the user, attach videos, or add your own message to it. Notice on the left-hand side that there is a place for personal messages, contact notifications, and an address book. Remember, all of this is for your own use and can be a great system to use.

Make a few test runs to get the hang of it by sending out a few messages, but keep in mind that there are a lot of content creators that get tons of spam, so be careful with that.

YouTube’s Messaging System is a great way to reach out through collaborations and to help you grow your own channel. Don’t abuse this or send spam out because the content creator can block you forever with just one click.
