YouTube Channel Evaluation with Santa

I love doing channel evaluations to help YouTubers see what they’re doing right, and also see what they could be doing better. So I did an evaluation for one of my subscribers, a YouTube creator named That Santa Guy.

One of the first things I always suggest to a YouTube creator is to identify his or her target audience, and That Santa Guy is no exception. Once his target audience was identified, I suggested that he find similar channels to his so he could see what they were doing right and wrong, and also to consider collaborations in the future. Another preliminary strategy I suggest is to make sure proper branding is in place. There are so many ways to brand, so make sure you go check out some ideas on my YouTube channel.

Now that you’re ready to start creating videos, making sure you have a good content strategy. I discussed several strategies with That Santa Guy, including social media strategies and collaboration strategies. Your strategy should always include very channel-specific ideas.
