Well, my friends, the New Year is here, but are you ready to post your online content and showoff your expertise? Even though many of you may be winding down from the busy holidays, hopefully there are some of you that are chomping at the bit to welcome in the upcoming year.

Lately I have posted several different articles or blogs that were full of helpful ideas to boost your online marketing techniques. Hopefully you are just as excited as I am to get a fresh start in 2015. But regardless of all the ‘should haves’ and regrets for procrastinating up until the last moment, here are some truly savvy strategy tips that can and will help you no matter where you stand with your online marketing campaign.

  1. Make Your Content So Great That Your Audience Can’t Resist Looking At It! Yes, there are ways to be subtle, informative, and entertaining while still promote your product or brand in a way that makes it so enticing that no one can take their eyes away from your content. People want value from the information you are giving them. So use key words that paint a descriptive picture for them. You should also remember to:

    • Include upcoming events or activities that they may wish to see.
    • Spotlight your most dedicated audience members and let other viewers see how personal and dedicated you are with your target audience. Showcase your most loyal viewers and make them feel special.
    • Don’t forget to use calls to action to add an additional reminder for your viewers to subscribe or check out other interesting items that you are promoting.
    • Ask your audience to answer questions, ask for ideas or tips to know what type of content they want to view, and spotlight these items to gain activity from them.
  2.

  3. Keep Your Content Compelling… and Competitive. While it’s important to not waste your viewer’s time, know exactly what it is your audience wants from you. This may be as simple as making a short informative video blog post that serves a wide range of topics for them. Make a compelling announcement that introduces something new in the coming week. But most of all, gauge your work with your competition from time to time. See what is trending to also make it a large part of your online strategy.
  4. Entice and Engage With Your Target Audience. Content, if created with goals in mind, will end up hitting the bulls-eye every time. Viewers love to be intrigued with emotions and images. Flood their senses with both of these in your video content to attract your target audience. If you can communicate in a timely manner, your viewers will likely come back for more. Building a close rapport with your target audience serves a very important purpose in growing a relationship with your viewers. This is all part of creating content that is worthy while building upon those opportunities to have a meaningful bond with them.
  5. Keep Your Content Fresh, Trendy, and Always Look For Ingenious Ways To Captivate Your Busy Audience. People don’t have a lot of free time. If you continually re-hash old news, that will surely disappoint your viewers and send them looking for fresher content. Never stop pursuing better marketing tactics because your main goal is to become an authority with your target audience. Most viewers will want to see proof that you are what you claim, and what better way of doing that than by setting your own trends. Great content will ultimately captivate your audience. In time, you will see subtle results and proves that your brand stands out above your competition. It’s all about providing content that is of value while captivating your audience over and over again.

It’s up to you to persuade and encourage your target audience so they take notice. You still have a few days to sit back and develop some great ideas along with making some new marketing goals that could build your brand into a successful and thriving online business. Start the year out right and try some new tactics that will keep your viewers excited to see what’s in store for them.
