How To Disconnect Your Google+ From YouTube Channel

You want to disconnect your Google+ Page from your YouTube channel? Even with all the frustration with the recent changes in YouTube and Google+, this task is really easy if you know how to do this. That is why I am going to show you how to disconnect your Google+ Page from your YouTube account, and also explain why Google and YouTube doesn’t want you to do this.

To disconnect from Google+ from YouTube, the first thing you need to do is go to YouTube settings. This gives you an overview with two places to click on. Click on Advanced and the link that says Return Name and Disconnect from Google+. This brings you to a screen to return name and disconnect your Google+ profile, click to disconnect from your YouTube channel.

Recently, YouTube has made a mandate that everyone commenting on videos must comment through a Google+ profile. This really lifts the veil of anonymity that long shielded users. If you really don’t want to comment on your favorite videos on YouTube, then go ahead and Disconnect your Google+ Page from your YouTube Channel.
