How to Change the Thumbnail Image for your Playlist on YouTube

Playlists are a great strategy to use to get more views and can be very powerful on YouTube. You may be asking yourself why this is true, and I have the answers. It’s because it encourages more watch time. Getting your playlist noticed is very important, and the way to do that is to have a change the thumbnail image for your playlist on YouTube to draw attention to that potential viewer to actually click on the playlist.

If you want to change the thumbnail image for your playlist on YouTube and make it more eye-catching, click on the Gear, go to Video Manager, and on the left-hand side you will see Playlists. This is where all of your playlists are set up for your YouTube channel. Now, if you do not have a playlist, you can go ahead and create one now. Pick a playlist that you want to edit and mouse over to the right-hand side where you will see the Edit button‒ click on it. Mouse over to the right-hand side where you will see the Edit button. This will show you all of the different videos that are attached to that specific playlist. Choose which video you would like to have as the playlist thumbnail, on the right-hand side you can click on the More button and Set Playlist Thumbnail. Once that is done, the modification is complete and that’s how you change the thumbnail image for your playlist on YouTube.
