Just wanted to send out this blogpost to let you all know how grateful I am for helping me hit this huge milestone for my channel. I’ve gone from 0 to 50,000 in such a very short time that I honestly can’t keep track of how fast time really flies these days.
But most of all, I wanted to personally thank all of you. Thinking about it, I wanted to give back to all of you for the appreciation I feel… maybe some type of recognition or a prize to subscribers like an iPhone, iPod, GoPro, or a laptop. But then I thought that a prize would only go to one of my loyal subscribers, and that wasn’t enough thanks for me. So I came up with a really great idea instead, my big announcement for my subscribers on YouTube. But first, I wanted to take a quick second and update some of you out there about what I really do:
I am actually certified by YouTube in Audience Growth. I have been doing marketing for a very long time. I work strategically with corporations and brands as well as personally work with a lot of top YouTube channels that I market and monetize. I work to come up with marketing strategies and do quite well. I also speak at conferences, and love to teach others with my personal training program. YouTube is where my real passion is because it keeps me immersed and involved.
Now back to my great idea. To bring benefit back to the people that actually subscribe to my channel… I came up with a great idea. I’m going to basically go into my analytics and look at all the metrics of people that are the most engaged, the people that are subscribed first off, and see if they’re commenting on my videos, liking my videos, sharing my videos, tweeting about my videos, and if they’re posting my videos on Facebook.
I will take all of these different metrics and do a little cyber stalking. I’m going to look at those channels, see what videos they actually made, see what type of channel strategy they’re actually using, see if I can identify who their target audience is, and so on. Also, I plan to do a little bit more cyber stalking on Facebook, Twitter, Vine, etc., to see their strategies there, and do some Googling to see what type of online presence that they actually have.
And then guess what I’m going to do? I’m going to reach out to them to give them a complete evaluation for free! Now this evaluation is what I do for corporations and other channels, some of the top channels here on YouTube, and I charge a lot of money for that. But to give back to all of my loyal subscribers, I’m going to do it for free and I’m going to work with to show all the great things that they’re doing, what they could improve on to develop a more rich community, or to get a little bit more power out of their videos and get some more audience retention. And also repeat views off your videos‒ which is highly important. And then I’m also going to help them find a way that they actually can make some more money at this… because that is something that I’m really good at.
Basically, this means that I will personally reach out to them, give them this evaluation, and then pull them onto my channel, put them in the hot seat, and give you, everybody that’s subscribed to my channel, an overview of what I’m teaching them. Now that’s going to do two things.
- First… it’s going to really help this individual with their channel and really move it to the next level.
- And second… this is going to help everyone by giving them ideas! It’s going to give you ideas!
And thus, you know what? This is a great idea from my eyes. But I’d really like to hear about if you like this idea, so put it in the comments below. I’m actually cyber stalking a few of my top fans; I’m also looking at people that are engaged on my channel and in my communities. And I am reaching out to them here shortly.
