How To Make Money on YouTube with Affiliate Links

It’s easy for YouTubers to assume that they just need to put more ads on their videos to make more money, but that’s not necessarily true. I invited my friend, Melea Johnson, to share some tips on using affiliate links to make more money on YouTube.

Melea Johnson has “The Melea Show” on YouTube, and she uses affiliate links on her channel to make more money. Affiliates give you a percentage of the purchases consumers make after clicking their ads on your videos.

You need to have an actual website in addition to your YouTube channel in order to even be considered as an affiliate with most companies. Once you have your website ready to go, try to set up affiliate links with companies like Amazon, Target, or Walmart.

Be careful with affiliate links, though, remembering what your purpose and goals are before you start sending your viewers off of YouTube.
