YouTube tracks what videos you watch, but they also track what you search for. That’s what happens when you see videos that are ‘Recommended for You’. Every time you go to YouTube and search for something it actually records that in your history. Now, if you are looking to delete your history, let me show you how easy it is to do.
The first thing you need to do is go over to the right-hand corner, click the little arrow, and then mouse over to Video Manager. And under Video Manager, on the left-hand side you will see Search History, click on that. And you can see all your past searches. Now to clear those, all you need to do is select the ones you wish to remove and hit remove. Or you can clear all search history by checking the very first check-box which will select everything, hit Remove, or you can hit the option to Clear All. It is that simple.
- Click on your Icon
- Open Video Manager
- Click the History Button
- Clear All Search History
