How to Upload Videos to YouTube Without Notifying Subscribers

When you’re a content creator on YouTube, there are times when you really want to upload your video content without notifying subscribers. Now for me, I might have a huge library of videos that I want to publish but don’t want to overwhelm my subscribers with a lot of content that is not necessarily related to the channel.

You can do this on the upload, or modify it with a private video that you have uploaded. But doing it this way, you can upload and publish a video without notifying your subscribers. This is how you do it the private video:

• Click on the Gear and go to Video Manager.
• Select a video and click Edit. This will be the uploading screen.
• Go to Advanced Setting and come down to the distribution options.
• Here you can go to the Notify button and uncheck it. This will make it so emails won’t be published about your upload or show up in the video feed.
• The last step is to go to www.youtube.com/your channel name/feed. Once you are there, you are going to see that you can see your uploaded video. Go to the right-hand side, click Unpublish from Channel Feed, and now it is hidden.

Now, I’ve uploaded a ton of videos that I don’t want my subscribers to see because there are just a lot or they are videos that are not really related to the channel itself. And I don’t want to cut that prime real estate in their video feed on their YouTube channel.
