New Feature: Real Time Analytics For Your YouTube Channel

Everyone should be excited to know that Google has added real time analytics for your YouTube channel for those who want to see what is happening with their video content. This real-time reporting is a great new addition to help creators make better decisions on how to target their audience. It also gives an overview of view counts, minutes watched, comments, etc. It’s just another way of having access to your videos performance at any time.

To see your real-time analytics, mouse up to the Avatar icon. Click into Creator Studio where it will launch your dashboard. On the left-hand side, you will click on Analytics. It will start your real time analytics for your YouTube channel where you can see the last videos that you have and how many different people are watching it every minute or every hour.

The great thing about this is the updates in real-time that you can see. Let’s say you have 5 different videos in here. You will be able to analyze each one and it is all immediate. Now, there are also Comparisons that you can click on and add. Comparisons are still in the works, but soon you will be able to see its functionality when it is done testing.

You are also able to make your own groups which is really important to have. You can create a group where you can add any videos that you want to see or track. Once you create and name a group, click the Save button. When you’re in a group, it also allows you to sort them by the different videos that you want. You can also track 2 videos to see what is going on. This is very helpful when you are doing a lot of promotions because you have the real-time data to know if something is working or not.

Ultimately, having real time analytics for your YouTube channel is the ability to see and collect information to make assessments and changes… all in real-time. Now you don’t have to wait three, four, or even five days until you get the analytical data that you need. It’s all been added by YouTube to enable content owners to see their progress as it happens.
