For a long time, Netflix had the world’s leading Internet network for television along with Hulu and Amazon Prime following close behind as being online sources for people to watch.  But that is not the case any longer YouTube’s online TV rates soar in recent survey according to the poll done by Frank N. Magid, a research and consulting firm that reported the new statistics in September.  In fact, it seems that today, YouTube is more popular that live TV.

It’s true that online television is becoming one of the biggest growing trends.  Most of it is due to the fact of the many goods and services are readily available online, which has made this a new growing trend or status quo for viewers to tune-in to online television.  Online television is growing bigger every day with YouTube now leading the crowd.

In the past, YouTube was only thought of as a place to find quick entertainment or a How-to video.  But now that Google has refocused their own brand perception of YouTube, it has changed the way viewers use the social media platform.  YouTube is a mega center for content since practically everything now resides on it, making consumers approach how they do things online.

One of the biggest increases of online television has been for the advertisements.  It seems that viewers pay better attention to short, branded videos, making this a cutting-edge base for ads to do their job.  YouTube knows that the longer they can keep their viewers on their site, the larger their audience will become.  This offers such a huge opportunity for YouTube to expand their content and grow their revenue.

There literally has been a new explosion of digital television shows along with the way people view them.  The advancements in technology have opened up the way we keep it portable‒ streaming 24 hours a day and 7 days a week… and it doesn’t even matter where we are at the time we want to watch it.  And now that there is a huge range of services constantly available at our fingertips, watching television is beginning to evolve into something almost futuristic.

It looks as if YouTube is the largest growing revolution since the Internet.  It hails in all types of unique content from all corners of the world.  At times it is crazy to watch while other times it is wonderful.  But now it is becoming a popular destination for everyone.
