How To Add a Clickable Email Address to Your Youtube Channel

YouTube just made it possible to add a clickable email address to your YouTube channel. There are a lot of content creators that need to know about these business opportunities that are there along with collaborations, but they don’t want to check their YouTube inbox. I believe this is a very valuable tool to have and want to show you how easy it is to set up a clickable email address for your YouTube channel.

To add an email as a clickable link on your YouTube channel, login to your channel and click on the About button. This is where you can put your description and other links in. Now mouse over to the right-hand side where you will see a Pencil icon, click on that, and now you can see that YouTube’s made it possible for you to put an email address for business inquiries, etc. Go ahead and add your email address and click Done. And that’s how easy it is to add a clickable email address to your YouTube channel.

Now some people worry about spammers getting a hold of their email, but what YouTube has done is made it so somebody else can’t come along and scrape your email address. If you login from a different account you will see that there is a button which is a gate that actually makes you put in a CAPTCHA to stop spam bots before you can see the email address.

And there you have it! A quick and easy way to add a clickable email address to your YouTube channel.
